CEUs (Continuing Education Units/Credits)

CEUs are available and free for conference attendees. In order to receive CEU credit, please fill out the CEU registration form found at the conference registration table. Additionally, please sign in at each session.

CEUs are available for every session for substance abuse professionals, psychologists, social workers, counselors, and Certified Health Education Specialists (CHES). Additionally, sessions noted with “+CEU” in this guide have additional CEUs available for law enforcement (POST), CE’s for nurses or medical professionals, or Advanced CECH credit for MCHES professionals.

CEUs for LCSW, Psychologists, LPC
Please sign in at each breakout session. After each keynote you attend, please sign in at the keynote sign in booklet at the Meeting of the Minds registration desk. All keynotes and breakout sessions are eligible for CEU hours. Roundtable sessions and the ACHA Update on Friday morning are not eligible for CEU hours. After the conference, Meeting of the Minds staff members will turn in all sign in sheets to the Missouri Institute of Mental Health, who will be issuing your CEU certificate. Please allow for up to three (3) weeks of processing. If you have not already told the registration desk that you are interested in earning CEUs, please do so.

CECH or Advanced Level CECH Credit
Please sign in at each breakout session. After each keynote you attend, please sign in at the keynote sign in booklet at the Meeting of the Minds registration desk. All keynotes and breakout sessions are eligible for CECH hours. Some breakout sessions, as noted in the program booklet and on the Guidebook app, are eligible for Advanced CECH credit. Roundtable sessions and the ACHA Update on Friday morning are not eligible for CECH credit. After the conference, Meeting of the Minds staff members will turn in all sign in sheets to NCHEC, who will be issuing you the hours. Please allow for up to three (3) weeks of processing. If you have not already told the registration desk that you are interested in earning CECH and provided them with your CHES number, please do so.

General Attendance Certificate or Missouri Credentialing Board/Substance Abuse Prevention Provider CEU
Please sign in at each breakout session. After each keynote you attend, please sign in at the keynote sign in booklet at the Meeting of the Minds registration desk. All keynotes and breakout sessions are eligible for CEU hours. Roundtable sessions are not eligible for hours. After the conference, Partners in Prevention will send you a certificate with your hours obtained. Please allow for up to three (3) weeks of processing. If you have not already told the registration desk that you are interested in receiving a general certificate or MCB hours, please do so.


POST for Law Enforcement Public Safety Professionals

Please sign in at the session. Certificates for POST will be provided after each session. Please see your presenter or the registration desk if you have further questions.

The following sessions will offer POST (Peace Officer Standards and Training) credits for attendees:

POST Credit for Law Enforcement
Several breakout sessions are eligible for POST hours and they are designated in the program booklet and in the Guidebook app. After you attend, please pick up your attendance certificate from the presenters. If you do not have an attendance certificate, please provide the Meeting of the Minds registration desk with the POST sessions you attended and we will mail you your certificates after the conference. Please allow for up to three (3) weeks of processing.


CNE/CME

If you would like to receive CNE/CME credits for Meeting of the Minds, please download the following two forms. You must claim your CEUs before May 5th, 2019.
